Cancer terms:
Lump: A thickness, bump or growth in any part of the body that can be felt by fingers. Development of a new lump in a patient with cancer is suspicious for reccurrence (return) of cancer. Most lumps that occur in a patient, who did not have cancer in the past, are not cancerous. See cancer terms for more cancer related terms.
